Selling web hosting

November 22nd 2008 02:12
Although the economy is down right now, buying a web hosting pack that allows you to resell sites is a very profitable way to make money. I currently have a web site that allows unlimited band width and you pay to host a site name. This costs 100 bucks a year. If I just added sites to my current package I could add 100 dollars per year per site.

That's almost pure profit! If I added web page design to the mix, which I am capable of, I could up my profits to more than a thousand per site per year. In a tight economy, having an absolute advantage, such as very low hosting fees and the ability to do web design, is critical.

If you add special custom items, like regular web hosting updates and one on one phone support, the profits can be 1000% more than cost. That is the kind of business you WANT to get into. So do consider this option for making a few bucks on the side.

There is a new oppurtunity

November 5th 2008 08:53
and it's name is Yuwie. Follow this link to the sign up page. But wait what is Yuwie? Do you use face book? or Myspace? Or just about any social networking site to keep track of your best buddies? If you do those sites are making tons of money off of you for advertising. Literally millions are being made just cause you message your friends via those sites, but does Facebook or Myspace ever pay YOU for your efforts? No. Yuwie does. If you follow the link, there should be a short video explaining how it works, but basically the more friends you tlak to on a regular basis...like through messages on network, the more money you can make. So check it out!

Affiliates

September 9th 2008 02:04
While being an affiliate for one company won't make you a millionaire, adding a couple affiliate programs to your website might make enough to prevent you from having to take a second part-time job. Affiliates basically "advertise" for someone else. As an affiliate you will probably get a web link or a banner to place on your web page or blog. Generally speaking compensation is in one of two ways, an amount per customer/sign up or a percent of the transaction.

How do you become an affiliate? Usually there are forms, but in general it is easy to do. However, finding affiliate positions is something else. The very best place to find affiliate work is here at Affiliate Seek They have hundreds of places you can advertise with that offer compensation of up to 70% of a purchase. With these kinds of compensation, it might be possible to make being an affiliate your full time job.

A review of surveys for cash

August 25th 2008 00:28
I have done some of the surveys for cash sites like paid inbox dollars and panda, but have never really made any money. The only place I have been able to get money is Mechanical Turk by Amazon.com. In reality this only gave me some extra cash for sodas for the week, not enough to pay the bills or even the interest on some of my student loans. I suppose I could have went for higher pay outs, but I'm lazy, so I took the easy penny hits. You can make enough for little extras in life but not enough to live off of in the United States at least.

Dog Walking Service

August 18th 2008 02:32
I know that this may not be a business most people would think of but dog walking, pet sitting, house care for homes during vacations, etc... is a good business. Just look at this price list from the Pet Nanny website. Imagine having just one or two regular 3 times a week clients. That might be enough to make a living right? However, as you can see they offer much more than just pet sitting. They offer play, food, cleaning, and even medication administration! My first thought is people pay others to play with their pets? How do I sign on?

Apparently a lot of people agree with wanting this as a profession. At Pet Sitters International there are many people who do this for a living. Take a look and see how many pet sitters are in your area. Members of PSI also get special rates for bonding and the correct insurance for the pet sitting business. Which makes it's annual $140 price tag seem a little more justified. Currently in my area there are no pet sitters registered at Pet Sitters International

Blogging

August 13th 2008 01:26
Being a blogger I must confess, I don't do it for free. I'm guilty, I blog for cash. The thing is you can too! First of www.orble.com allows you to add your adsense account number, and you get a part of the cpc. Orble is great because you can blog about anything YOU want.

Another blogging site is www.today.com and they pay $1 a post per day. I blog at www.frugalmoms.today.com just to give you an example. They are stricter on what is acceptable, having a word minimum off 100 words. However, they have a wonderful VIP blogger forum, video contests, and a beta write for cash program available to "gold" bloggers. I love www.today.com because it has given me a chance to have regular income, no matter how small, for writing

Become a Psychic Reader

August 9th 2008 05:21
Many people will laugh, huff, or even scoff at the idea, but it can get the bills paid on your schedule. The best gigs offer you the ability to set your own schedule, pay much better than minimum wage and advertise for you. In reality such gigs are rare, and hard to find. However working as a psychic advisor fits the bill sometimes.

To be a psychic advisor you must swear to posses some sort of advanced metaphysical skill. If you do tarot, you qualify. In reality psychic advisors MAY have a gift but 70% probably rely on psychic training more than anything. What is psychic training? Pick up a book about developing your ESP, and you have psychic training. Read up on astrology and you have a new metaphysical skill to tout. Being a psychic reader is 1 part sales person, 1 part occultist adept, and 1 part shrink

Veggie Grower for the Farmers Market

August 8th 2008 00:43
Food prices are at all time highs, while fertilizers are too. But having a small plot and an arm full of organic gardening books can lead to a debt free healthy future. I have been an organic gardener for years. Growing vegetable with out fertilizer is easy. So is growing veggies with out pesticides of the traditional sort. If your new to gardening I suggest "How to grow more vegetables" by Joan Jeavons. I further suggest reading Four Season Harvest so that you can have year round income.

However, with out reading this I will give you the over view. Depending on if you collect your own fertilizer through composting and dried up lake beds or not, start up for one acer will cost $100 to $300. The point is to focus on high dollar local favorites, with a twist. For example, rare cucumbers might be a good gamble a long with tasty rare tomatoes. However, rare potatoes might be hard to sell for more than the ones in the store, even if they are purple or red. As a business person, you need to look at which items make the most. For vegetables that are easy and worth the time invested I always suggest tomatoes, cucumbers, and green beans. Other items you might find a good market for depending on your local agriculture might be melons, fruit from trees, nuts, and squash

Business Window Washer

August 5th 2008 01:19
It's a thankless job, but someone has to do it. Windows, huge transparent glass that let's customers see the products in the stores. Windows are a type of advertising if you will. If a businesses windows aren't clean, they can't advertise. Therefore it's probably a really good idea to keep them clean. Sure, an employee could do it. However, in Lawyers offices, Doctors offices, and more it is unlikely to occur.

With very little start up you can go into business for your self as a window washer. How? Simply buy the materials, some glass cleaner, rags, and a squeegee. Place fliers around town offering your services to other businesses or home owners with 5 or more windows. For home owners you may need a ladder

Writing for extra cash

August 2nd 2008 19:18
Associated Content is a site devoted to producing content. As a content producer, it is more like being a journalist than being a writer. Associated Content, allows content producers to get a set amount per thousand views and up front payment. I write for Associated Content on occasion. I have only produced 12 articles in the past few months, of about 400 words each, and have made about 60 dollars.

Some content producers do much better, making thousands over the course of a year. The key is to have a relevant, news worthy, timeless piece, with detailed facts and good photography. Generally speaking Associated Content will pay 2 to 10 dollars for an article depending on the need for it. They prefer on the ground news, product reviews, business reviews, etc... to fiction, poetry, or prose
