Genealogy Searching Service - Creating Family Trees

A friend recently finalized what she has been interested in doing the recent years. She has just created her family tree including five or perhaps even up to six generations. Quite a feat. I'm sure the tree will keep growing.
An interest in personal past is encouraging to do. With the advent of mobility, families are often physically separated across the miles. The Family Tree is a way of being a part of each other for always, especially with big families.
Thinking of the devotion and extra care that my friend took on while doing her own family tree, here is probably an opportunity to start a business creating these keepsakes, then offer it to people who might be interested.
A genealogical searching service can be done and presented to potential clients, especially families with a written family history and a family tree already on hand. Photographs, scrapbook or old home movies, and all other kinds of remembrances, souvenirs and mementos can also be presented on CD, DVD or on video.
To start compiling the family genealogy, a computer and a software will be needed to store the data. As the compiler and/or writer, you will have to meet family members of clients willing to participate and share any kind of information they can provide.
Other things that can be done is that in this business, you can also train or teach clients to put family data, home movies, events, etc on video, DVD or CD. As your business grows, a bit more investment on DVD CAM system, and other high tech gadgets come up on top the simple brochures and cards.
